Cromarty Kids

by Unknown - 23:15 on 16 June 2014

We had the most amazing day today working with students from our local primary school. Working in two trenches, the children excavated, assessed artefacts, metal-detected and learned about site records, stratigraphy and digital photography. All 16 of them worked incredibly hard, getting through some deep topsoil to test the results of our geophysical survey. Definite medieval pottery was recovered!

We look forward to working with many of these wonderful children this summer!
