FUN AND SUN

We love this drawing by Hayden - absolutely superb sketch of a pig jaw bone! The dig team is providing training to volunteers, young and old. In addition to digging, we are involving young people in the process of archaeological recording, this includes illustrating artefacts.

The sun has been shining and the weather is warm down on the dig site and combined with a beautiful location and fantastic archaeology, it couldn't get any better! 

We are also enjoying running official site tours, held at 2pm daily. Visitors are also welcome at any time to have a look around and chat with the team!
