MONDAY, WEEK 2

Amazing weather that continues to be sunny and warm, 23-26deg C, on average. Feels like working on a Mediterranean site, with diggers musing about archaeology in exotic locales.

We're enjoying working with family groups of parents and children and I constantly think back to the first dig opportunity that my mother made for me when I was about 14 or 15 in Allendale, South Carolina...

We've got a lot of work ahead of us over the next two weeks and the site is getting more and more interesting. We hope that our interested visitors will continue to come along and take a site tour and that folks will join us for the end of dig BBQ on 2nd of August!
